Barack has become a popular baby name now, but will anyone name their daughter Stanley after Barack's mom?

Honestly, Stanley?

I almost peed myself laughing when I heard that the first time.

Its just about as bad as being named Tripp.

Ahh, yes, Barack-the-messiah's followers are sure to go above and beyond and name their little girls Barack too, It should be a law to include a number after their name.
Reply:Mostly African Americans and Alaskans name their children stange names. So, no, I don't see Barack Hussien as being a popular name.

And since Stanley is a white name, I don't see African Americans being interested in the name at all.
Reply:Naming babies has turned into a dangerous competition between over-zealous mothers trying to draw attention to their spawn.

The hospital should assign them numbers until they are old enough to read and pick a name for themselves.

It is becoming a matter of child welfare.
Reply:Perhaps. It is common for parents to name their children after the fathers name regardless of gender. Barack mothers name was named Stanley Ann Dunham after her father.
Reply:I feel bad for girl babies who are given names traditionally used for boys.

It's going to be such a hassle for them later on.
Reply:I dont think anyone will name a girl "Stanley". My aunt named her baby Barack, ew. I dont want to see little Baracks running around America.
Reply:mBush40?? What does this have to do with politics? I think you missed the "gossip/society" category.
Reply:That's going to be one upset generation when they realize they were given that name...
Reply:Sure, I can see it happening.
Reply:That's the name of my garage door opener but i didn't name it.
Reply:In the scheme of things. This hardly matters.

Tripp who?
Reply:Why don't I name my kid unknown, that would be closer to the truth then what we know about Obama!
