Why do people think just because they wear name brand clothing that they are popular?

seriously, i mean i wear it too. but them people think they are better than you because of what they wear. do u have ppl like that at your school or know what i am talking about?

Reply:Clothes do not make the person. Personality does. People, that think like that, they won't go far in life. As long, as what someone wears is neat and clean and they shower. That is all that should really matter. Life is too short, to sweat the small stuff.

Reply:well that depends if you are refering to ACTUAL name brand or actual designer labels such as Michael Khors, and Marc Jacobs, Juicy, Besty Johnson, Missoni, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Dolce and Gabana, must i continue? but no i don't notice that because i go to a school full of preps, so no one really notices these things unless you are into fashion, like i am.

After high school/college it becomes more about Degrees/certifications, income, year and model of a person's car, neighborhood a person lives in, etc.

Reply:kinda, cuz they wear all the abercrombie and stuff like that. at my skool, pple are rich, except me, and they an afford to buy things like that. i like vintage and funky different stuff, but sumtimes pple think its weird becuz its different. they think they r better cuz everyone else the same thing, but pple need to realize that wuts different about pple is wut makes them cool.

Maybe some people are like that, but not everyone. Some people who wear target thing their better then everyone. It has to do with the person, not the brand. Maybe it all comes down to the fact that their probably wealthy. But still, there are middle class people who think their better. It just comes down to the person, and how they were raised.

People call her "moosie" (you know, like massie from the clique, only moose cause of all the A%26amp;F) behind her back.
