What is the most popular name Male/Female You heard growing up?

Did you go through school having some people with the same name that you had to include their last name so they knew who you were talking to...

What is the most popular name Male/Female You heard growing up?
Jennifer! even my sister is named Jennifer.
Reply:Maria was a common name, I included my whole name as there where several Maria's in primary and high school, sometimes the teachers would say Maria and then my last name. I now make sure everyone calls me my whole name MariaAntonietta, a select few call me Tonia by my request.

Reply:When I was in highschool I know a lot of Davids and we all hung togther in the same group. So, yeah, I had to use their last names as well.

Reply:Well, I'm still technically "growing up," and one of the most common names of this age is Emily -- I know about ten Emilys that were in my senior class, so nobody would ever say just "Have you seen Emily?" -- It was always "Have you seen Emily So-and-So?"
